TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account
The Broker — The Short Version
TabTrade opened in March 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know a MetaQuotes platform previously, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set once it is live.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Ignore this one unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package holds up. Hardly anyone at this price point offer execution like this.
Regulation
Here is the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
That said. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
